Megan holds an MA in Linguistics from Wayne State University and an MPH from Michigan State University. She serves as a research consultant for Wayne State University’s Office of Cancer Health Equity. With professional experience in financial oversight and an academic background in the humanities and social sciences, Megan favors a mixed methods, community-engaged approach to research. Interests include sexual and gender minority substance use behaviors, healthcare access and delivery for underserved populations, and community and interpersonal aspects of illness and caregiving.
