(he/him/his)
Grew up outside of Seattle, WA and moved to Denver to pursue a social work PhD in the Fall of 2018. Initially headed for medical school, he changed trajectory to social work when his experiences navigating sexuality in a conservative religious community created a desire to give back to the queer community. After completing his MSW program he worked as an ER crisis worker and substance abuse counselor, focusing on residential care for high risk men with extensive histories of homelessness and incarceration. His research interests focus on LGBTQ wellness with an emphasis on identity intersectionality in the queer community. He values equity, diversity, and social justice, and seeks to support LGBT people in living meaningful and exciting lives.
